hi guys just wanted to see if anyone has had a problem with starter drag or it just dosent sound right some times its acting funny some times but other time its fine ????????

From Central Florida.

Check battery cables, they have two ends. Check them both for cleanliness and tight. Also have the battery load tested. After that I would pull the solenoid apart and see if it doesn't need a rebuild.

I'd start with a load test on the battery. Make sure connections are good with no corrosion. I've had the starter clutch start acting like that. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's noisy!

Not sure about your engine, but on my 08 FB, the starter lagged often when hot.
Long story short: I changed to a starter with 0.2 more amps. It has not skipped a cog yet.
