03 SC Road King

At Calgary Harley there is a 2003 Screaming Eagle Road King, U.S. model with 18,000 Miles on it for sale. It has stage one and new tires, the seller only wants $17,750 for this beautiful bike (gold in color). What do both the U.S. and Canadian readers think about the price on the bike. I think it's an great deal with the 103 engine and all the extra's that come on a Screaming Eagle. Wish I had the means to buy it!

When I worked at Harley I only saw a couple of them. Both were that gold color. Major headache bikes. It seemed the quality control was not there on the gold ones.

What kind of problems did that model have? Just wondering for future reference.

I too am curious as to why any quality issues would be related to paint color, other than paint issues.

Mostly related to electronics and ignition. The color is what has made these bikes stick out in my mind. So when ever I see one for sale in my area I always wonder if they were the headache bikes and if the owners finally got tired of then and decided to sell.
