I read somewhere on this site that this slow and deliberate sequence lets the computer do its diagnostics and helps prevent "rogue codes" from happening.
Thanx for the positive affirmation Glider. Seems there's no market for my '02 RK right now so I'll keep her my main transportation and try to cut corners elsewhere.
