'02 Fat Boy seat thumb screws

The seat thumb screws on my '02 Fat Boy come loose after I ride a while. I haven't torqued them down with a flat head screw driver, but pretty tight by hand and they always seem to loosen up. Does anyone else experience this problem?

I took a Skull license plate bolt 1/4 X 20, put a steel washer then rubber washer under it, screw it in until finger snug. Stays put when my solo seat is on. Skull sits up about 3/4 inch and looks very sweet.

Put a very small drop of blue locktite on the threads. Just a little drop will keep them from working out on their own but still come out when you want them to.

I used a nickle or quarter to tighting them, don't have problem with them coming loose nor any problem when remove them with a coin.
