02 deuce alarm problem

I have not activated the alarm in over 5 years. Two weeks ago the audible alarm/siren went off in the middle of the night. Had to disconnect battery. Went for a ride 2 days later. Alarm sounded on highway off and on, but mostly on for 20 minutes. Eventually shut off by itself. Is there a way to disconnect audible alarm? Where is the alarm siren located? I have a wiring diagram for bike. Any ideas?

You can remove the siren which you will probably find behind the splash panel in front of the rear wheel. 2 bolts and it slides out. Have you checked the condition of the battery in the FOB?

Also, some siren models have a self contained battery that will enable alarm to function if main battery is disconnected. That battery could be corroded/bad.
