0 degree being closed 90 degree being horizontal or wide open

Anybody ever wonder why the butterfly on your Fuel injection only opens to 60 to 70 degrees? Wide open is 90 degrees or compleatly horizontal on a carb why not a FI system? Can someone tell me what would hapen if I were to modify mine to open to 90 degrees?

I would think the engine would run a lot better. I never have seen a throttle body butterfly Not be at 90 degrees when the throttle was "floored". At least on Cages they do.
