i've been running the TFI since april on a stock flht, and was concerned over the possibility of carbon buildup so i watched the mufflers to see if it was detectable there. there was a little extra black, so i set the green pot back to 1 and now i'm getting 40 mpg (up from about 37) even though the 2 pot is set a 4(i like the acceleration when needed) and it doesn't seem to overheat. it's fun to be able to tweek things.

Best bet is to set the #1 pot with the RPM (1800) and lower the accel pot being you will not see much of a difference lowering the #2 pot. It will also bring up your MPG too.

took your advise awhile back after ridin' 2 up and was still getting some ping, brought the 1 pot up to 3.5 and the 2 pot down some and the performance was much better with the same mileage. thanks Glider.
