Diagnostic Trouble Code Information
1475, 1477, 1478 codes?

These are Screamin’ Eagle Active Performance Muffler kit diagnostic trouble
codes. Code descriptions and diagnostic flow charts are covered in the
instruction sheet J03535.
A 1477 code will be logged if an Active Performance Exhaust calibration is
flashed without the kit installed on the vehicle. If the incorrect calibration was
loaded you will need to use Digital Technician to reflash the correct calibration
into the ECM.
If a 1475 code is logged after installation of the kit, disconnect the cable from the
servo motor and perform steps 55 through 57 of the installation instructions,
before following the flow chart.
Steps 41 through 45 of the installation instructions pertain to ’05 models only.
The instruction sheet will be updated soon. Always check h-dnet for the latest
instruction sheet revisions.
There is a correction to the wiring diagram below. It is on page 5 of the
instruction sheet. The Yellow wire from connector 164B location #7 goes to pin
#1 of connector 4B. The Black wire from connector 164B location #1 goes to pin
#4 of connector 4B.
1. Connector 164B
3. Connector 4B
