Polishing the chrome
Hi guys,

As a HD newbie, I was wondering what you guys use to polish the chrome parts on your bike.
I want to make my chrome shiny and not scratchy.

I will post pics of my XLH 883 later.

i use Auto Glym super resin wax, or luster lace.

Do not use an abrasive polish as it will cloud and scratch the chrome

Hobbit question. I use Mother's on my Chrome. Which is a chrome cleaner. Are you saying you wax the chrome??

You can wax chrome with no ill effects whatsoever. Try some pledge on it, you'll be surprised at the results.

i use wax on the entire bike it also makes it easier to clean

New product you could try if you can get it.... Bug slide spray cleaner and wax. No residue and no build up of wax in crevices.....

I have used FLITZ polish on every bike I have had since 89' and love it. It will make the chrome look awsome and it will make all the aluminum parts shine like chrome after polishing it a few times.

Pledge and micro fiber rag it just plain works hot or cold
