Lowering an XL1200L questions...

Can the 1200L be lowered to the same 883L unladened seat height of 26.8?

I'm a short guy at 5' 3" with an inseam of 28". I like the 1200L but the seat height is just a bit too high at 28".

Just wondering what you think...

anything is possible with right application of the wallet
as the suspension on sportster is basic buy the bike you want and then replace the rear shocks with a nice set of shorter progressives also do the front springs and fork oil while you are at it you will love the change

I replaced my shocks with 11" Progressive 412's. Stock is 11.5" but due to the different valving on the Progressives it lowered the rear about 1.5", which is right where you want to be. She rides so much smoother now.
