Belt Gaurd for Lowered XL1200C
I just installed a lowering kit on a friends sportster and had not taken the belt gaurd into consideration. The rear tab jogs over and will no longer fit where it should. It looks like I can go with a longer bolt and a very thin nut if I straighten out the tab on the gaurd. It will probably screw up the paint when I do that so I'm looking for suggestions for those of you who have installed the rear brackets that lower and shift the rear shocks back for lowering.

I don't have an answer to your question. But alot of Nightster owners take there's off. So some one might be able to hook you up with one cheap or even for freezy if they want to get rid of it. Just my 2 cents.
