Here is a PIC with softail tank

Here is a quick pic of my 06 sporty with 06 Softail Tank installed. Check it out... I will try to get a few more good pic in a couple of days and post it.

That looks great, It could be mistaken for a big twin very easily.

looks sharp!

found out the guy i first talked to had no idea what he was talking about (no surprise). The tank is doable, but it'll cost 600 for the color match tank, and another 130 for the retro fuel pump fit setup.

Thanks, I love the looks too... just needs some new pipe...

Posted some pics on the Sportster Pic threads. Anyone interested in seeing the before and after shot can go check it out. I have to say it confuses quite a few people on the stop sign at a quick glance..

If anyone interested in doing the same, can PM me. I can send you more detail pictures and zoom shots.

PS. I got my tank off ebay.. I paid less then $300.00 brand new off a 2006 softail. The owner wanted a custom tank and fender and paint. I luck out with the same color as my bike.

I know this is old . But I just stumbled on a web site that sells the bigger sporty tanks to fit direct bolt on to any sporty. They have alot of cool stuff too.http://www.latus-harley-davidson.com Look in body work under color match acc.
