5 harley riders die , say a prayer ride safe
By Peter Mucha Inquirer Staff Writer Three men and two women were killed, and a woman was critically injured as the three motorcycles they were riding stuck a van in Lancaster County Sunday afternoon. About 5 p.m., the bikes - all Harley Davidsons - were headed north on in the 1600 block of Lancaster Road (Route 72) in Penn Township. They wound up in the southbound lane, where they collided with a taxi van, police said. Five victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The sixth motorcyclist was in critical condition at Lancaster General Hospital. The van driver was in fair condition at a hospital. The names were being withheld this morning, pending notification of kin. i ride the same roads im so sad for them |

Very sad but, how did they "end up in the southbound lane?" There's more to this story than this short blurb tells us.

Prayers for family and friends and recovery of the sixth rider.
Were they passing? I just wonder how they all ended up in the wrong lane or is the story backwards?

Here are the names of the victims:
Police name 5 motorcyclists who died in crash | Philadelphia Inquirer | 06/28/2010 RIP My brother-in-law (he rides) lives up in that area and when I saw this post it made me sick in my stomach.
