Interesting stuff the ACF 50...from the description, does it come out of the nozzle as a fine mist or foamy. And you apply it after you have cleaned and dried your bike right? And cost wise, how much is it per can, and how much do you use to clean a Sportster?

arh now the question gets asked if you use it straight out the can it comes out like a thick pinky/white foam and is hard to direct as most just builds up on the fingers and the nozzle.
Warm it up and spray it and it comes out like a mist and is easy to direct the 1 can should do the bike at least twice

Plenty of HD dealers(and mc dealers in general) in the UK now stocking ACF-50.
Download the Hints & Tips sheet from the acf-50.co.uk website.

Warm the tin in hot NOT boiling water -OR consider one of the other package types.

Remember, ACF-50 is Non-Flammable and Non-Toxic.

Happy Riding

Cheers

Re: ACF 50 or S100

There are many products on the market for protecting things from the harsh environment of winter but I think I get the most bang for the buck from plain old WD-40. I but this by the gallon, put it in my own sprayers and after the motorcycle, mower, or whatever is clean, I spray them from top to bottom with the WD-40.

It will dry and create a protective film that is really quite durable. When it's time to ride again, or use whatever has been coated and stored, one simply puts a new coat on again, let it sit for a few moments and then wash it off.

For those of us that ride when there might be some salt present, do not wash it off and ride, ride, ride. In the springtime when the salt is cleared from the roads, recoat and wash off.

I have used this method for years with no damage from salt, vinyl and rubber parts tend to stay soft and pliable and the cost for the product is usually less than half of the other products on the market.
