81 sporty engine timing
I just bought a custom with a sporty engine on it, I was told it is an 81 model but not sure just looking at it, is there any where on the block that has this info. I know the serial number can't help me much unless there is a place that can seach a serial number and tell me make and cc of engine, can any body help. I also need to know how the timing marks are supposed to line up and what is the best advice for timing a sporty engine??? Any thing will help. thanks....
