Re: Service manuals on cd

Not for a Harley, but for both my cars I did. Key point to look for when buying a CD version is (1) Does it have a Search function (some Don't) and (2) Does it have 'Hot Links' to the key words you searched on.

I can tell you from experience, that if it does not have those two features, you will go crazy trying to look something up.

But most of the time, CD versions of manuals are cheap and it won't be a big lose if you hate it.

Hoop!

Re: Service manuals on cd

If you get greasy fingerprints on the CD, it won't work, unlike the book.

Re: Service manuals on cd

Got 2, both off E-Bay. One for me and one for the son-in-law. Both work great. Paid 13.99 for mine so why pay more.
