Hypergharger & pipes for '09 883 Sportster
My missus has got a new '09 883 Sporty and I would like to put a set of S&S slip-on pipes on it.
Any problems with this ? Any tips ? I would also like to add a better air cleaner set-up and was thinking Kuryakyn Hypergharger or the SE Stage 1 kit. Any problems, any tips, any recommendations would be welcome.. I can't seem to find much in the self help tips regarding the '09 models.. Thanks

I would go with the stage 1 kit. FWIW read this,
Hyper Chargers (Kuryakyn) - Harley Davidson Community Lots of slipons that will fit and sound good like cycle shack and some others.

for me the SE stage1 with a K&N filter is about as good as it get for air flow, slip ons we only get V&H In the uk but the S&S will be fine, what fuel manager are you using??? you will need one check out the TFI

Thanks for the info
You're right Hobbit, I had forgotten about fuel management.. I tried to open the link you posted for dobeck without success... I'll try again tomorrow.. Is there any sensor issues in doing minor mods like these that you know of.. ?? |
