The dual system does have very slightly more lever travel then single, but if properly bled as stated earlier w/ bungy cord and using a rubber mallet to gently "coax the bubbles up" they should be fine. Still plenty of room between the grip and lever when heavily pressed.

I thought my single disc brake (2007 Nightster)was spongy as well, and when ridding 2 up, I just felt that there was not enough brake.

I changed to a stainless line and the performance is great!

For dual brakes, you will need to change all lines to feel the difference.
