Question Spoke Wheel Conversion

I am after a bit of guidance. I currently have standard Mag wheels on my 2007 XL. Can I just swap to spoked wheels that have bearings etc fitted and use the axles etc from the mag wheels or are there other bits required to do the job??
Looking at the Service Manual it appears to be a fairly easy task?
Kimbo.

Re: Spoke Wheel Conversion

need the bearings and then new bolts for the rotor and pretty much reuse all the other bits and pieces.. only thing might be different is spacers in the hubs and between the forks

Re: Spoke Wheel Conversion

more or less a straight swap just use new parts for the brake disc's and as Bud said you may need new spacers, and makes sure the caliper and disc fit as this may need to be altered as well
