I like the stock handlebars and risers and I like the stock handlebar clamp BUT I would like to get the handlebars back about another inch toward me when I ride without changing all the cables, etc.
Does anyone know the height of the stock risers (or how to measure that) and, if I were to get risers that are another 1" or so higher, I surely want to clear the speedometer, etc. I had thought of riser extensions but would rather not see a seam there... Does anyone have any ideas??? TIA !!! |

Re: Changing risers on a 2005 Deluxe
Shouldn't be too hard to measure the risers on your bike now and get a set with a bit more pull back or an inch taller. You shouldn't have to change cables etc for an inch.
