Transmission noise, and engine dieing
I have a 2008 Softail FXSTC, %th gear rattles am told thats normal do not wory, but noe after 7300 miles my 1st gear is rattleing and engine had dies on me twice while coming to a stop. recently replaced clutch and break lever with chrome ones so had to adjust clutch cable tightened cable to just a 1/8in. slack in cable.

That's the nature of the beast with the 6 speed cruise drive trans. It has poor tolerances and sub standard parts IMO.
