New Bike Using Oil??
My 2008 FatBoy is going in for its 1600KM (Canada) 1000 mile service next week..anyway I checked the oil tonight after a little 100 mile trip and the oil is down about 1/4" inch on stick..Do the bikes use a little oil on break in??

Most any motor will use some oil on breakin. The key is to break it in correctly to minimize the oil usage after breakin. Also oil should be checked hot to get the most accurate reading.
