Easy Brackets For Deuce hard bags

Finally was able to get me a set of H-D hard bags for my Deuce. My problem is the way they mount so high on the bike. I would like them to be just above my exhaust so that the lines of the rear fender would still be visible. Would the Easy Brackets for the Deuce solve this problem (ie let me be able to mount the bags lower)? I know I would have to drill the bags but if I can get the desired look that would not be a problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Poppy

with the Easy brackets/Ghost brackets you get to decide were to attach the mounting plate, the bolts cannot be moved as they are stock locations.
I have used Easy brackets before and love them can go from touring to custom easily

Re: Easy Brackets For Deuce hard bags

Did you use them on Harley hard bags or on softbags. Does the back plate give a lot of support to the bag? One more thing, can you tell me the width of the top holes center to center?
Thanks

I used mine on leather bags and i fibre glassed a plexi inner to the bag.
the backing plate does offer a lot of support and is attached with 4 bolts.
the top holes vary from bike to bike - they now make an adjustable mount

Harley Davidson saddlebag bolt-on hardware supports

check the above link for specifics on the Deuce
