sorry forgot to add it allows better access to the inlet and allows you to get at the vacuum plug to put the T piece on and line it all up

I put one on my 96 fxstc and i have the 7 gallon tank and you do not need to take the tank off , be sure to rejet carb though , i used a thunderslidt made a big difference
