Hey guys,I haven't been around lately.You know how life sometimes can get in the way.Oh,BTW,here's one reason why I've been busy.I've been riding MY NEW BIKE!!!I just walked into the dealer one fine day(just to look around,mind you)and lo and behold,the next day I'm leaving with this beautiful 2009 Heritage!My wife thinks I'm crazy for trading my '07 in but I did bye it with her blessing.As soon as I get to 1000 miles I'll have the pipes A/C and Race tuner installed.I'll send more pics as I progress.I'ts good to be back on the forum.Just another note...I did consider an Ultra Classic but the name KingUltra just didn't have the same ring as KingHeritage!

All of the add-on pegs are Kurakyn. The stuff is expensive but after extensive searching they were less expensive than the other aftermarket brands. The Harley stuff was either not what I wanted or just stupidly expensive.

The 3-position adjustable pegs for the passenger were a mistake. They are really only one position pegs. The top position slot would work well for anyone under 4 ft tall. The back position would be great if your knees were double jointed and you didn't have saddle bags.

All of the rest are very adjustable to most anyone and have added a lot of miles to how far we can ride at a time. Stock we could go for almost 50 miles a day before getting off. The stock harley seat was especially worthless and painful. Now we can go 300miles easily and I have done 550 in one day.

I know that a lot of iron butts will scoff, don't care, at this age and with my beat up old body I go for all of the comfort I can afford.

Softail is one of my favorites, especially the Nightrain, that disappears form 2010 catalog!!!!
