my step dad has a 90 heritage softail and we are trying to make his rear turn signals runnin lights and turn signals. how does everyone go about this considering we can not find a kit we were looking and wondering if the front running lights and turn signals will bolt up to the rear they look the same any one do this?

You have to change the sockets to dual filament to use them as brake /running lights.
I used deuce lights to do just that besides the normal brake/running/directionals. The red lights function as brake and running lights that I added. It all depends on how you wire them up using the dual filaments. The modules that are available run very hot being a resistance to accomplish their duty and as a result aren't long lived.
