Difference??????

Does anybody know what peice has different mounting holes between the 07 fatboy and 08 fatboy? Is it the rear fender?

Not sure on this but when I find myself asking this type of question ive found simply checking the part numbers to be very helpfull.Call HD and see if the 2 fenders have different #s.

does the 07 have the fat tire? i know the new 08's look different at the back and the front i think they have shaved a little off the rear fender so you can see more of the tire

Yes the 07 has the fat rear tire. If the tank and front fender are the same as the 07 then I can use that stuff and use my custom rear fender just dont want to tear my bike apart if that stuff wont fit.

I don't see a difference, The Parts book or a good Parts guy behind the counter would probably tell for sure though

Sometimes the part numbers are the same but the parts have little changes, '04 to '05 Fatboy rear fenders are the same but the holes in '05 were larger and need drilling out so thats the sort of thing you need to watch for.
