Rear wheel noise?
Hey guys, I've got a buddy with a '97 Heritage that's got some noise coming from the back of the bike. He says that it only happens at mid speeds and sounds like it's coming from the wheel. He's guessing that it is his bearings since they are 10 years old.

Does this sound right?

Difficult to diagnose from just what you gave us here. It could also be the belt too. Maybe try some silicone on the belt and see if it goes away ( the noise)

Still not a bad idea for a complete service in any event. Things do dry out after 10 years.
