Chrome Covers
Can anyone tell me why the chrome covers (HD part 66508-00) engine/trany interface cover & (HD part66510-00) engine/trany top cover won't fit with a hydrauic clutch when it dosen't cover the hydrauic hose. I just like the look of these on a grey motor.

Got this off an official Canadian Harley.com site
I did not post HTTP name as I was not sure of forum rules. 66508-00 Fits '00-'06 SoftailŽ models (except FLSTS and FLSTSC). Does not fit with Braided Stainless Steel Oil Lines or Hydraulic Clutch. Can be installed with or without complementing Top Cover P/N 66510-00. Hope this answers your question |

I just re read your post. I dont know why the parts wont fit other than HD says they dont fit.
Maybe some else has answers |

Yep they fit, just got all three covers and they look real nice, fit nice and cover that big grey area around the trans well.
 Couldn't more pleased. |
