Can I change out my tappets without removing the tappet guides Thanks

You will need to remove the lifter blocks to replace the lifters.Unfortunately there is no way around this.

If you mean the lifter blocks (#70 in att), no. You have to remove the blocks, then the lifters come out. Note which way the oil holes face when removing. You really should have the lifter block alignment tools (2ea.) for reassembly.
