So what's the best way to bring it back to life, when it's dead? |

The battery shouldn't go dead just sitting there, if it was good when you took it out it should be good to go, 8 weeks not that long. If it is dead here's the charging chart, you can use a 10 amp fix rate charger. Buy a battery tender and leave the battery in the bike is better for me. Good luck
