Clutch Problem

I have a 2006 Softail Standard FXSTI and had problems clicking into 3rd and 5th gear on the weekend.Is this a clutch issue?It just didnt want to click into these gears without some luck.Should i be worried as i have just brought it.

Have you checked all the preliminaries like the primary oil level and clutch adjustment?

i checked the transmission dipstick which i wasnt aware of and it was extremely low so i,ve just purchased oil and it rides sweet again.
