Speed Sensor

Does the speed sensor wire directly into the ECM connector or does it have a connector on the end of the cable? If it does have a seperate connector where is it located?

Most things have a connector inline and are not wired directly to the ECM. If you follow the wire on the VSS, you'll find the plug.

I helped a friend with a 2005 road king the speed sensor was connected to a separate connector before it went to the ECM
