Question Removing Primary Cover

I am attempting to remove the primary cover to access the chain; however, after removing all of the bolts, I cannot remove the primary cover. Any suggestions?

Re: Removing Primary Cover

Remove the primary chain inspection cover too

You'll see why when you take the bolts out..

Welcome to the Forum. Lots of good info here on the Self-Help pages and in the heads of your fellow members.

Make sure "all" is ALL. If you take off the derby cover and the inspection cover if you have one, you can stick your fingers in there and have a bit more purchase to yank on the primary cover with. But if not, grab a rubber mallet and give the cover a gentle smack or two. Should pop away from the inner primary.

TQ
