Getting rid of Big Radius pipes

Due to the loss in low end torque I've decided to get rid of my Big Radius pipes, and go with a different set here:

BUB STRAIGHT AWAY - Long Stagger Black Ceramic 2 into 2 for the 1995-2009 Harley Davidson Softail

Question is, how much better can I expect these pipes to be? Anyone care to comment on BUB's quality? I'm hoping to gain much better low end torque.

Re: Getting rid of Big Radius pipes

I've tried a stage 1 map (bike has the stage 1 air intake installed), as well as a tweaked map..both seem to make things a little better, but the low end torque is still bad. Using a sert and no matter what, torque is bad.

I know it's not a fair comparison, but riding my buddy's Street Bob, there is tons of low end torque. I know for obvious reason his is going to have more low end power, but it made me realize just how much I've been missing off mine.

The only thing I can seem to pinpoint are the big radius pipes. I've read time and again how short drag pipes will make the low end suffer. I've thought about modifying the baffles but would rather not and to be honest I tend to like more traditional styled pipes better. Hence, why I'm really hoping these will be better.
