Question 04 FatBoy front wheel bearing

I have an 04 FatBoy that needs front bearings replaced, but not sure how to remove old bearings. Are they pressed in? Or can a guy remove them without damage to wheel?

Re: 04 FatBoy front wheel bearing

I had the same problem, it was very hard to remove this bearings. I try to do that myself and can't do it. That I visited few shops and they cant't do that. Finally I found a shop were they had a SKF bearing puller kit, like this:

SKF TMMD 100 Deep groove ball bearing puller kit

Than they soak bearings regions with a petroleum and finally (afetr few hours) remove old bearings.
The second way I thnik is to go to official harley shop, and they should do that.

So, removing is possible, but not easy without special tools.

Go to George's Garage or Jims and get a puller/installer tool. See here:
