What I need to do is find a local guy who is willing to do the job from start to finish, including the take-off and re-installation. There are guys who "think" they can do it, but many who want to learn on your bike. I want to find a guy who has already done a few and can provide a portfolio of his work, but it's been difficult to find anyone like that around here.

Nice job on the barbed wire. It's nice to see more examples of how much the appearence can change on a bike with such small details.
Lower the rear of the bike with a nice set of black Progressive 412's shocks would make that bike sit beautiful.

Thanks for the kind words!

Unfortunately, the guy who did that work has moved and from what I understand is living out west somewhere, so now he isn't an option at all.

While I love my paint work, I would actually like to remove the fairing I have, put it aside for safe-keeping, and do something really wild and different with the rest of the bike that would still "go with" the current fairing if and when I put it back on, but with a new fairing to match the new paint scheme while the fairing I have now is off. I see so many fantastic and really colorful "Kandy" type paint jobs and I really love those! So if I could find a local guy to do the work I'd schedule it for winter, and have it all done for next year.

I've reconciled that I won't be buying a new bike and I'm just going to have fun with the one I have.

An option that was recommended to me was buying a whole new set of pre-custom painted tins, but ultimately I think I'd save a lot of money painting the ones I have. Any thoughts and opinions on the course of action you guys have or would take would be much appreciated!

I did change the Seat out, I did not like the look of the Spring Seat on it -
