New England Trip July 2009

Wife and I decided to do New England this summer. We missed only Maine because of the rain this summer. Vermont had rain 29 of 30 days during June this year. We covered almost 4,000 miles in 10 days and even rode down Times Square on the way back to North Carolina

Re: New England Trip July 2009

Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. I rode to New England also and had a great time and the area is beautiful. What surprise me was that on the way back, we went to New York state and it was spectacular. The Adirondacks, Catskills mountains, Woodstock and other areas was truly a beautiful ride. I visited NYC a few years ago. It was OK and I had a good time, but I had no idea the rest of the state was so grand.
