Of course I've got Cherokee in me..somewhere..on my mother's side. Dad's is Swedish and Irish. Period. Mom's is Irish, Scottish, German, and a drop or two of Cherokee thrown in for that "fightin' spirit" Like the Irish and Scots don't scrap. Yup, I'm a mutt too! I'm startin to think we may be shirttail twins or some such, anyway! The Normal you spoke of. Would that be in Illinois? My cousin went to college there.

Personally, I think it's just wrong that Pennsylvania has a county called "Lackawanna", as well as a town named "Intercourse".

Just seems like a set up to me!

Ahhhhhh.........good ol mixed cultures! I'm just glad I didn't get the "fightin" part of it!

Mississippi has a town called Hot Coffee. And I believe it's in Alabama......but there's a road that has a sign with two names. The one pointing to the right says "Equality". The one pointing to the left says "Richville." LOL

Sis, weren't you the one ready to rip the lungs out of some jackass in alabama not too long ago? That's fightin', Dear. South Carolina has a town called "North". Can't you just hear it? "Where you from, boy?" North, South Carolina,Sir" "Well, which is it?" They also have Denmark, Norway, and Sweden!

last time i drove on the continent i had a momentary laspe of concentration and reverted to the correct side of the road - yelling at the French in a loud english accent whilst driving at them does not go down very well with the passengers i drove almost 1/2 a mile before i realised - was even in a left had drive car durrrrr
