Clint,
Great ride, I was there just a few weeks ago. I loved the Beartooth pass ride. The gravel sections were not that bad when I was there they were really packed down good. The delays were anoying but were not all that bad either.
There were tons of bikes in Red Lodge when I was there also.

Great to hear of others great trips.

Their is also road work on the south entrance headed for west thumb. This 9 mile section is RAW mud/dirt. We went threw Yellowstone aug, 2nd, same as you, hit that thunder storm in Glacier park aug., 4-5th

My last tour was on the USS Tripoli during Desert Shield/ Desert Storm. We left carrying 1800 marines with us and dropped them off in Dubai if I remember right. I'll be praying for your son as well as all that are serving. God speed to him.
