CNN and mr O if your looking in if you care heres another one you missed my son on second trip(full tours none of this few months stuff 15-18 months each trip) his time is up he has a ride home waiting . Not happening give me an extension for another six years sir I am staying along with 2 other members of his section the same day. Over 80% of my soldiers extend thats better than in peace time

It's like they're born with a rock in their hand! Even the old men can chunk a rock. The MLB is really missing out on some primo pitchers! Did you notice the kid to my right, the left in the picture? Yes, he's about 13 and smoking a cigarette. They do alot of that as well!!

Mr O here you go some shots of them white american soldiers killing women and childern braking into there home stealing what little food they have. They only hope you will save them and get rid of the soldiers.

Also not shown on CNN but the whole story was sent to them. reporter could not make it that day seems he had to stay back and dream up a better story

Smitty, I would think that any GOOD news, like you're saying here.. would be a "scoop" for any news service. That they'd want to show that things are working out... and make this a less "despised" action. Or do you think it's a matter of not wanting to rock the boat, or be "the only one saying otherwise"? I just don't get that. Used to be.. something like this (contrary position) would have been considered a scoop to any other media services.

Sort of a "it's working out.. here's why... give it a chance" sort of thing.

That's all I'm saying.

Joe, personally, I'd rather hear the truth... bad or good. And be able to make a decision from there. I'll also be honest though.. it's the pure cost of this action that I'm afraid of. Cost in lives, cost in money, cost in resources if there were any trouble elsewhere in the world. That's about it.

I totally understand and respect your point, DK, I really do. It IS an expensive undertaking and not getting cheaper. So, what good would pulling out early do if we're already invested this much in it? What honor would it bring to our folks who have made the ultimate sacrifice if we elect a president who can think of nothing BUT how soon we can bail? It's a give and take situation. If we leave it will probably save lives and definitely will save money. On the other hand, they are stabilising and working toward being a productive member of the world community. If we bail, it could wind up right back in chaos and Saddam II would probably show up. Not to mention Al Queada showing up in droves. IMHO, we need to see it through and that will definitely influence me in the voting booth.
