Re: Bush
I think that the problem with Powell is that he is African American, most of the country is also not ready to have a person of color in office just like they are not ready to have a woman. I am not saying that either is right but that is just the way most of the country is.
I agree that we need a strong military leader and neither of the perspective women to run seem to have that so I think that we will end up with a man but I am really not sure who it will be. |

Re: Bush
Despite how everyone feels about what we need and do not need for the country, when it all comes down to who is being elected, trust me we have no say whatsoever, they run it and choose who is suitable for the time being.

Re: Bush
I don't really like how our country is being ran either. I have heard the same rumors as you stated. Whether they're true or not we'll probably never know. Nonetheless, we still need to truly support our military as it's going through some difficulties of its own right now.

Re: Bush
I don't normally touch topic like this for fear of offending someone but I'll make an exception in this case. Bush has no idea what the hell he's doing and his father was no better. If Bush Sr. had put an end to Sadamm back when he had the chance the future of this country may have been different.

Re: Bush
The post of US President is very important. We need someone who can now really steady the ship. World over people are now discussing about the Iraq war. After so much time has gone, we have started to forget also the main agenda of the Iraq war - "Where is the WMD?" There are some more issues which will be addressed in this election.
