Rep. from Florida resigns due to explicit emails and instant messages to young pages. This is the same man who was helping write bills to protect kids from internet predators meanwhile he is one. Does anyone else think that he should face criminal charges? What about the people who knew about it years ago, should they be reprimanded for trying to down play the problem?:mad:

I think everyone that helped cover this up needs to be out of office. We do not need these kinds of people running our country further into the ground. I heard he was carted away to some disclosed high priced rehab center, that figures. Had it been someone normal like any of us they would have hauled us off to jail.

I think it is kind of ironic and funny in a sick sort of way. I can't believe that he's trying to write laws to protect the kids he's stalking. I guess that he would be the best person to do this though if you think about it because he'd know the ins and outs of how it's done.

The one thing he forgot to remember, the most important thing, is cover your tracks. How dumb do you have to be to leave a trail? Don’t any of these guys watch Dateline?

What a moron this man turned out to be. All he seems to have is excuses, Boo hoo I'm an alcoholic, Boo Hoo I'm a gay alcoholic. Make up your mind buddy!

Being gay does not make him a pedophile, nor does being an alcoholic. This guy is a predator plain and simple. He is no better than any other vermin that has done something similar. The people that knew and looked the other way are as guilty as he is in my opinion.

I still have a hard time understanding why people think that being gay, or being alcoholics or being abused when they were younger gives them a valid reason for what they have done. It sounds just like the guy who went and shot up the Amish school because he couldn’t deal with the dreams of abusing girls. Rather than just take his own life he decided it was necessary to take five kids with him. SICKOS!

Another day, another dollar, another predator. What has this world come? Are these people looking to see their pictures in sexual predator magazines? What's wrong they don't get enough attention from the media already?

I just saw a few more articles on this total crap. Everyone who knew or even thought they knew and looked the other way needs to step down, these people should not be in our governement. Shame on them, they are as bad as Foley himself. How could anyone know this and let it go, infuriating isn'y it?

More freaking sicko's is all we need, everyone involved needs out of office. That is one thing I just can not understand and hope never to understand how their sick minds work.
