Dang kids and Guns

Every time I turn on the tube this week and last some crazy kid shooting up the school.Or should we be calling the parents crazy for letting them access?

This is so sad and also on our t.v. all of the time.What has gotten into these youngsters now days?We have police in all our schools here now.

It really is sad. I don't understand what is going on now days either. If I would have ever even thought of acting like that as a kid I'd have been the one being shot. (I think you know what I mean.)

There is something really wrong here. I don't understand it either.I know what you mean about the police too, we have them in our schools for about 5 years now.

If you want my opinion, which you probably don't LOL, I tend to think that the parents and society are to blame here. We are so busy and both parents have to work so who's left to help our kids learn right from wrong?

My dad gets mad with me a lot for hanging around and bugging. But if I was to touch his gun, he probably beat me with it. I hate my dad at times, but I know he loves me and want me to be good. My friends are all wild and talk back to their parents and do all kids of things. But my dad tells me about stuff and not hide anything from me. So when I do wrong, I know it!! My friends act like they don't know right from wrong. But their parents are never around at all and when they are they shut up somewhere out of sight.And my friends been at home by themself since we was in like 2nd grade.

I think that you're basically agreeing with what I said. I know I'd never behave like these kids do today. I just shake my head in amazement sometimes. If these parents were around more they'd probably kick their kids' butts for doing some of the things that they don't know they're already doing.

Yeah, my dad too! He would clobber me if I was like some today. Some get on there crying and say they never seen it coming. Of course not! Open your eyes once in awhile people. My folks act like that with my brother, but I know better, I try and tell them but they won't listen.

What is wrong with all of these psychotics going into the schools and killing our kids? We could place blame everywhere but the blames really lies with the person committing the acts. Blaming their parents or society does not help the situation every school should have metal detectors and guards at every door. We shouldn’t have to worry when we put our kids on the bus; the only thing my friends and I worried about when we were going to school was grades. School shootings weren’t a big part of our society back then.

I think that some of these video games are really to blame. I think that too many people are getting thrills with these video games and thinking that doing the real thing will bring them an even bigger thrill. I don't know if this is true but it's just a theory that I have in my mind.
