Re: Gas prices going down, down, down
I know it somehow seems too good to be true, but I am glad that almost every I pass a gas station and the prices are declining and no one is telling us really, I guess thats why all the suspicions.

This is what's going to happen, we all get comfortable with the lower prices that just keep on dropping and then bam up they go, where they'll stop nobody knows. LOL. Getting about $2.15 a gallon here.

Re: Gas prices going down, down, down
With gas prices over $2 here I find it really difficult to spend the money to go on a long road trip. I really miss the lower prices that actually allowed me to enjoy road tripping. I hope that they'll come down again next Spring but I tend to think that this isn't going to happen.

Low prices are outdated. Two years ago all of the gas stations went out and bought the 2's for their signs hoping they would never have to use them, now 2 years later they have purchased the 3's and 4's knowing full well they will most likely be using them in the very near future.

LOL bikerbaby. Prices here are about $2 a gallon but I figure that by Christmas it will be more like $2.75-$3.00 again. That’s what I love about having a bike; it is less expensive to fill up than a car.

Re: Gas prices going down, down, down
Price is 1.99 here now. Thank goodness since I don't get to ride the bike anymore. I had to put it away for the winter today. I rode it most of the summer to work and saved a lot versus driving my car back and forth. It is always a sad day when I have to put the bike away.

Classicgirl,
I feel for you, I live in upstate NY and we had 2 feet of snow the other day. I hate the winter! I think I need to move to a warmer climate where I can ride all year round. God, I envy people in the South. Gas prices don't ever stay low and with the holidays quickly approaching we are doomed! |

Re: Gas prices going down, down, down
I paid $1.91 a gallon today! Sure am glad to see it under the two dollar mark. I hope it continues to drop and levels off fairly low; however, I do think that for the most part, it will bounce back up around the holidays when more people are travelling.
