Jiffy Stand Lubrication

The manual for my '04 Heritage says to use Loctite Aerosol Antiseize
to lubricate the Jiffy stand .
Is Loctite Antiseize just another "dry" lubricant or does it have other
properties that make it the best choice for this job ?
I already have a spray can of Dupont Teflon Dry Wax Lubricant . Would
this do the job as well ?
I know, I know it's bad to be so tight you won't by a can of antiseize
Thanks.
Unk

Re: Jiffy Stand Lubrication

I have a small tube of bearing grease that I squeeze in .

I wiped off the excess and will repeat again next year.

Re: Jiffy Stand Lubrication

The jiffy stand isn't a critical part, just about any grease will do the job here and nothing has to come apart if you do it right.

Re: Jiffy Stand Lubrication

Thanks All .
I thought most any dry lube would do . So far this has been the easiest task yet . Hard to believe but I'm just that raw when it comes to things like this .
I am proud to say that I did manage to change fluids in all 3 holes , change the plugs , and put on new brake pads front and rear . Did a little over 400 miles last week end and she didn't burn up or seize and did stop when ever I ask her to

Thanks again.
