Fuel Guage & condensation

G'day all,

Ive just noticed thet the fuel guage on my 07 Roadking has condensation inside it.
Can anyone tell me if this is a fairly normal occurrence, or if it is something that I need to get the dealer to look at. I have only got 2,600Km on the clock, & beleive that over time this will damage the guage.

Any help would be appreciated.

RK:confused:

Re: Fuel Guage & condensation

Hi RK

I have had this problem with my old Dyna-conv. It started about 5 years ago and lasted untill I sold it 3 weeks ago. It did not seem to have any effect on the gauge but, it looks bad and made mine hard to read in the dark. Also I think that the bulb needed replacing more often (twice in the 5 years)
It's not normal so as you have warranty get it checked out.

Everyone that I know w/ a Harley has the same issue. Mine does it too. I asked the dealer and they also said it is a normal thing.

Some speedo's do it too.
