Re: buell

I have a 99 Buell S3t Thunderbolt with 68000 kilometers that has served me very well. I have ridden 700 mile days and was still able to function after that. I could ride 260 miles on tank of fuel. The reason I bought this bike was because of the Harley engine, I don't know if I would care for the new engine though.

While I think some of the after market versions of the ROAD ROD are great and it is a bike harley should have built. I do not think it will be the next touring bike engine.
HD has some other engines laying around and some ideas from the past that are great even by today standards, they do have power to really blow our minds if they see a market for it.
