Complete Oil Change (softail)
1 Attachment(s) Sticky Thread   No new post Complete Oil Change (softail) - 882 days old
There has been a lot of talk lately about the benefits of scavenging the crankcase when doing an oil change on your engine. Misprinted Manual (sportster)
Misprinted Manual (sportster) - 228 days old
Posted by "dalo" The 2006 owners manual for sportsters incorrectly calls for 3.6 quarts for oil change. The correct amount should be 3 quarts. Overfilling the oil can cause it to blow out the breathers into the air filter.
