Re: proper oil filter?
I just picked up a HD chrome oil filter (63798-99A) from Biggs HD in San Marcos, CA. I found out my shop was using cheap imitation filters. I didn't want to ride to Sturgis with 5-micron thoughts in my head.
Number one reason for changing: because of this great forum. THANKS!

Not madder what the micrron rating is it is best to use what YOUR engine calls for. A more restrictive filer maybe what one engine needs and may cause failure in another. Then there is the whole by pass issue with after market will fits.
